The Council’s Property insurance policy
primarily covers General and Education Properties up to their full
reinstatement value. Cover also includes additional costs arising
from business interruption and cover for refurbishment works to
existing buildings.
The Council’s Commercial Property insurance policy covers
buildings that have been leased to a third party for commercial
purposes, up to their full reinstatement value. The cover also
includes loss of rent
This was a joint procurement lead by Sutton’s Insurance team
via the London tenders portal for Sutton, Kingston and
Merton.
