Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2024 - 2026
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy
sets the Council's Equality Objectives as required by the Equality
Act 2010 and associated Public Sector Equality Duty. The Strategy
forms part of the Council's Policy Framework.

Consultation process
The draft Strategy is scheduled to be approved
for consultation by Cabinet on 17 July 2023. The draft strategy
will then be the subject of wide consultation via the Council's
Consultation Database as well as through direct engagement with the
Joint Consultative Committee with Ethnic Minorities and a range of
other community groups and forums. Consultation will commence in
July 2023 and conclude in October 2023.
