To vary the existing contract to enable a
contract extension for the maintenance of the council’s
property portfolio in order for the council to meet its statutory
obligations in terms of building related health and safety and
ensure properties are kept in a good state of repair. The extension
period is to enable the completion of the re-procurement of the
contract.
