Merton's Forward Plan sets out all the key decisions that are due to be taken by the council
A key decision is an Executive decision which is likely
a) to result in Merton Council incurring expenditure which is, or the making of savings which are, significant having regard to the Council’s budget for the service or function to which the decision relates; or
b) expenditure valued at £500,000 or above; or
c) to be significant in terms of its effects on communities and groups of service users living or working in an area comprising one or more wards or electoral divisions in Merton Council; or
d) to amend the agreed budget and policy framework.
1.That the alcohol and substance misuse
contract mentioned is extended for a further 12 months from April
2023 – March 2024
2.Approve the extension of this public health contract under
Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR 2015) until
31st March 2024. This will allow the necessary time to consider a
new service model and undertake stakeholder engagement
3.The total cost of the extension for these services is
£1,411,270 (including continuation of a variation on the
substance misuse contract that was granted until March 2023)
