Merton's Forward Plan sets out all the key decisions that are due to be taken by the council

A key decision is an Executive decision which is likely
a) to result in Merton Council incurring expenditure which is, or the making of savings which are, significant having regard to the Council’s budget for the service or function to which the decision relates; or
b) expenditure valued at £500,000 or above; or
c) to be significant in terms of its effects on communities and groups of service users living or working in an area comprising one or more wards or electoral divisions in Merton Council; or
d) to amend the agreed budget and policy framework.

17/04/2020 - Council Tax Hardship Fund ref: 957    Recommendations Approved

To agree to use the Council's discretionary powers to reduce the liability of working age council tax payers already in receipt of council tax support; and that all new working age claimants meeting the qualifying criteria will receive the reduction. The actual take up of this scheme in be reviewed in 8 weeks with a view to deciding how to apply the remainder of the hardship fund.
