RESOLVED:

A That Cabinet approved that a contract is entered into for the provision of a new VRF system at the Civic Centre, along with remedial works to the electrical power network with the preferred bidder listed in Appendix A

The Cabinet Member for Housing and Sustainable Development presented the report advising that the boilers within the Civic Centre were 42 years old and a consultant had been engaged on a feasbility study with the best option identified to replace the boilers with a VRF system. Funds had also been set aside for electrical works.
