A) Notes the result of the statutory consultation carried out between 14th November and 6th December 2013, on measures required to accommodate the proposed bus route on Victoria Road. These measures are detailed on the plan attached as Appendix 1. B) Notes and considers representations (detailed in Appendix 2) received in respect of the proposals as shown in Appendix 1. C) Considers the objections against the proposed measures and overrule the objections for reasons given in section 3 of this report and within Appendix 2. D) Agrees to proceed with the making of the relevant Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) for the implementation of the following proposed measures as also detailed on plan in Appendix 1:- 1. Introduction of “no waiting at any time” parking restrictions at key locations. 2. Existing speed humps to be constructed to the standard 75mm height 3. Construction of a speed table. E) Agrees to exercise his discretion not to hold a public inquiry on the consultation process.
