Creating a Community Opportunities Framework
is one of the solutions in our approach to modernising Learning
Disability Day Opportunities services following an independent
consultation (Big Conversation) as part of the Recovery and Reset
Programme.
People with a learning disability including parents and carers made
it clear that whilst Merton’s day services are very good
quality and well regarded, many expressed a lot of interest for
more choice of community based activities.
